New Website, Who Dis?

I now have a new website, thanks to my wonderful wife!

Back when I started venturing into game development in late 2017, I also spent some time learning web development as a backup plan – in case I was unable to find myself a job within the games industry. As part of my learning, I tried making my own website, which started quite positively. I was learning React to explore non-static websites. However, the website was pretty much abandoned once I had an interview for a game development role. Fortunately that intervew lead to my current job, but it meant I left web dev behind me, leaving my website left to linger as any knowledge I had in webdev started to get replaced by Unreal Engine knowledge!

My wife started coding really recently without any background in programming. She is always having good ideas about tools that’d help with her streaming or automate things that she does regularly, and decided to learn how to solve these problems alone instead of asking me if I could help. She’s worked super hard and has written a few C# applications now, and her stream content has gone from variety gaming into software development streams! She also started teaching herself web development so she could write her own website, as she was tired of paying for a WordPress theme when she felt she’d be able to make one herself. And thus, she made me a website too. ♥
